Homoeopathy in Labour and Birthing

In this modern medical world, the so called modern people think that the so called modern system of medicine i.e., Allopathic method of treatment helps them to come out of their illness with a complete cure in spite of the recurrence of the same disorder or disease in their lives. Humans of this generation are inexplicably forgotten of the most worthiest, effective, truthful, cheapest, and laudable system of medicine, the Homoeopathy given by its father, Dr Samuel Hahnemann. In spite of its meticulous curative actions on diseases and disorders, Homoeopathy is considered either second or less important than the other. We people usually opt for Allopathic gynecological treatment for pregnancy and inducing labor. But Homoeopathy standing by two of its seven cardinal principles namely Law of Simplex and Law of Minimum Dose aids pregnancy and induces labor which are tremendous in their action.

Homoeopathic medicines namely Caulophyllum thalictroides, Pulsatilla nigricans, Cimicifuga (Actaea racemosa) inculcate the importance of Homoeopathy in labor and birthing. These three Homoeopthic remedies are highly effective on helping the pregnant women having the deal of possible problems during child birth such as cervix which is slow to dilate, pain during labor, excessive bleeding, retained placenta and other difficulties. These highly effective Homoeopathic remedies will help a mother achieve a healthy natural delivery and re position of a breech position baby.

Indication of Caulophyllum thalictroides

The main action of Caulophyllum is dilatation of cervix thereby leading to a normal delivery (i.e., a non cesarean delivery). It is primarily indicated for sedentary women with a poor muscle tone. It can be taken to prepare women for easier births and for women with a history of severe gynecological problems or difficult births earlier. Caulophyllum ultimately increases contraction of uterus thereby pushing the baby outwards through its primary action of dilatation of cervix. So Caulophyllum confirms that Homoeopathy also has or in other words Homoeopathy is the only treatment now which has the scope of a normal labor.

Remedy with potency: Caulophyllum 30 with a repetition of three times a day for couple of days or Caulophyllum 30 with Cimicifuga 30 with a repetition for one hour with four doses in 24 hours.

Indications of Pulsatilla nigricans

Pulsatilla can also induce labour but the main action of Pulsatilla lies in treating a pregnant women with her in breech position (i.e., legs facing the cervix which is abnormal). Action of Pulsatilla in treating a breech positioned baby gratifies the importance of Homoeopathy again in gynecological aspect especially in labor. Minimum doses of Pulsatilla will turn the baby to a normal position which is in breech position. So the re positioning of the baby from its breech position is considered mysterious Homoeopthically and to the world. Pulsatilla is usually administered to women who are indecisive in nature, weep easily, seek comfort and re assurance while starting labor. They may also feel emotional of the baby and other children too. They have fear of being abandoned and will look for guidance and support.

Indication of Cimicifuga (Actaea racemosa)

Cimicifuga 30 along with Caulophyllum 30 or Cimicifuga 15 along with Caulophyllum 15 will help in the induction of labor.

Homoeopathic Management of Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)
